Meet the Hineni Gathering Ministry Team

Meet your Hineni Gathering Ministry Team

Here I am. My name is Nicole and I live in Denton, Tx. I’m married to Ron and have 6 kids plus 2 bonus step kids. I’ve been a nurse at a family practice office for 13 years. Contemplative practices have enriched my prayer life and have drawn me closer to the Lord in ways I never knew were possible. I love cozy blankets, warm fires on a cold night, good wine and good food, and spending time with people I love. I’m a 9 on the enneagram.

Here I am. I’m Jessica a contemplative who is a 4 on the enneagram. My soul is shy but it longs to be seen, known and loved by God and His people. I have learned, ‘that creative thing in me that wants to make something beautiful is holy.’ I adore rabbits, crave guacamole & enjoy traveling. Through writing & teaching I passionately desire to witness to the furious love of God. I’m blessed with 2 adult sons & a badass husband I treasure. I’m living my best life at a Hineni retreat where God has called me to serve.

Here I am. I’m Debbie, a curly-haired contemplative, country as a turnip green. I’m a 2 on the enneagram and I’m often accused of caring too much, as if that is even a thing. I am a wife to a horse-loving cowboy, a mother/step-mom to 3 boys & 1 precious girl and Grammy to 7 adorable humans. I am a life-long student of the enneagram and follower of “The Way”. My passion is people and their stories as I believe we are all connected in one way or another.

Here I am. I’m Michelle. I love life and passionately love people. I'm the wife of an amazing man for 17 years, and a Mom to three hysterical almost all adult kids. My quite time with Jesus is my favorite part of my day just learning and Him quenching every ounce of my being.  I love live music, good food, dogs, fashion and to laugh until I pee my pants. I'm a 2 on the Enneagram, helpful, altruistic and sometimes possessive but I love to the core.

Here I am. I’m Amanda an Enneagram 8. I’m strong on the outside, tender on the inside and a warrior for those I love. I am married with one son and one dog. I love Jesus, shoes, coffee and naps. I am currently studying to be a Christian Counselor and my passion is ministering to young women.  I choose the contemplative life because it’s the one place I can stop fighting the world and rest in His presence.

Here I am. I’m Allyson & I truly have a love for life! I have been taught, studied and practiced many contemplative practices. This helps a 7 on the enneagram slow her mind, body and spirit down. This practice allows me to be present to the beautiful moments God manifest in my life. I am engaged to truly one of the best men I know. I have one adult son & through my union with Randal 3 more adult children and 7 grandchildren-they bring so much joy into my life! My favorite place on earth is the beach, listening to the waves crash, playing in the sand & watching the sun set over the ocean truly warms my heart & is where I feel closest to God.

Here I am. My name is Teri and I consider Texas my home even though I spent my childhood years in Charlotte, NC. Being a 6 on the Enneagram leaves me indecisive a lot of the time, but one thing I know is that I love serving the Lord through women’s ministry. It has been my passion and calling for many years. Married 29 years to Jim we are blessed to call 3 young men & a beautiful daughter our children. In this season of my life, I have rediscovered my love for reading & I’m learning to practice the contemplative lifestyle. I continue to be amazed with the presence of the Lord in my daily life.

Here I am. I’m Cathy. My favorite song by Casting Crowns sings,  ‘I’m just a nobody, trying to tell everybody, about Somebody, who saved my soul! I’m living for the world to see nobody but Jesus!’   I love Jesus, I love music, & I love to sing in my car when it’s just me and Him!  I am a 1 on the enneagram, often referred to as the perfectionist. My husband Joe and I had 2 sons, then gained 2 daughters-in-love, & we now have 5 GRANDchildren. Contemplative practices have helped me to live out Isaiah 46:10. I am greatly blessed as I continue to grow in my love for the Lord and experience Him in new ways.

Here I am. I’m Diane and I love God’s Word, Jesus, and dark chocolate ... and my husband and family too! Jim and I have been married for 34 years and I’m blessed to be blended into Jessica’s family. As a Enneagram 8 that just can’t stop - I am just starting a third career - this time as a volunteer with Scleroderma Foundation at the state and national level. Three years ago God called me to a deeper intimacy with Christ after a study in John and am delightfully discovering how contemplative practices help me linger with and love Christ more.

Here I am. I’m Cindy, a contemplative in progress, loving the Hineni journey, the path of realization of what I’ve already become in Him, to discover my True Self. I’m an Enneagram 3 whose soul desires to rest in the truth that I am loved for who I am rather than what I do. God has most recently called me to work with children identified with Dyslexia, a treasured joy. I love cats (especially tuxedo males), a close circle of trust, reading books and Audibles. My husband and I we were blessed with a beautiful daughter, who married her long-awaited prince and blessed me with a bonus set of twin girls before the gift of my grandbaby boy, the love of my life.

Here I am. I’m Shannon Moran. I have one daughter I adopted from Russia who blessed me with 3 amazing grandsons. I never imagines the joy I would feel as a “Beebs.” I enjoy a sunny spring day, singing along with Sinatra while scrolling through my camera roll. I LOVE Karaoke, ‘Jesus take the wheel’ fits me as an enneagram 8. Staying strong for others is important to me but I have a soft side as I truly care about the burdens of people. I strive to inspire others to rise up and have their voices heard. The greatest gift I have received is the display of unwarranted kindness & love-GRACE- given from God both directly from Him and through others. I remain forever grateful for this gift.
